SO I began to make a portrait of the awesome jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux. but I gave up half way xD
the lower part of the picture was left not even half finished, I put most of the time in to drawing her face :]

Your Pathetique Light

inspired by Mono's song with the same name. and Mushi Shi (watch it!)
Jef and I had a discussion on the topic of art (as always) :D
and interior lighting came up. so I think I had that somewhere in the back of my head. and then Your Pathetique Light kicked in and this idea came to me :]

in retrospect I should have put the window a bit further down and to the right I think.
